Equipment

  • Large bowl

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cavatappi pasta boiled and drained
  • 1 pound lean ground beef browned and drained
  • 1 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup dill pickles diced
  • 1 cup green leaf lettuce chopped
  • 10 ounces cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 8 ounces mild cheddar cheese cubed
  • 2 cups thousand island dressing
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl add your cooked and drained pasta.
  • Add the cooked ground beef, onion, pickles, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cheese and dressing. Toss to combine.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This is fabulous to make ahead. I would wait to add the lettuce until right before serving. You can use any onion or any lettuce you like. You can use any short pasta or cheese you prefer.
