Sriracha Roasted Veggies
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, quartered
- ½ each red pepper, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha hot sauce
Sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons hot water
Lo Mein
- 8 ounces lo mein noodles fresh or dried
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast, sliced thin
- ½ head green cabbage, shredded about 3 cups
- 1 large carrot, grated
Garnish
- Fresh scallions, chopped
- Sesame seeds
Making Sauce
In a small bowl, stir the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and hot water together. Set aside.
Cooking Chicken
Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add vegetable oil, then add chicken. Cook until just barely cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
Adding Vegetables
