Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb hot sausage, uncooked
  • 1 cup cooked chopped bacon (about 1 pound raw)
  • 1 package cream cheese (8-oz), softened
  • 1 can diced jalapeno peppers (4-oz), undrained
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.5 cups Bisquick
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Place all ingredients in the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment. Mix until well combined.
  • Scoop sausage mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment paper-lined rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18 - 20 minutes, or until brown.

Notes

Can use a can of diced jalapeno peppers or diced green chiles. For spicier sausage balls, use fresh diced jalapeno peppers. You can freeze the sausage balls and bake later. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
