Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 ounces egg noodles cooked according to package directions

Meat

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef

Sauces

  • 30 ounces Tomato Sauce 2 cans

Dairy

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 8 ounces Sour Cream
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded

Seasonings

  • 2 teaspoon Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Cook the pasta according to package directions, when done, drain and rinse.
  • In a skillet over medium high heat, crumble the ground beef until cooked thoroughly, drain the grease.
  • Add in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper, stir to blend well.
  • Add in the sugar, stirring to mix.
  • Pour in the tomato Sauce and stir again.
  • Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes.
  • In a small bowl combine the sour cream and the softened Cream Cheese.
  • Place half of the pasta on the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  • Top the pasta with half of the Sour Cream and Cream Cheese mixture.
  • Spoon half of the meat mixture over the top of the sour cream mixture.
  • Repeat the second layer of pasta, sour cream and meat mixture.
  • Sprinkle the Shredded Cheese over the top of the entire casserole and place in the oven.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and beginning to brown.

This recipe is versatile; you can add or remove different ingredients, switch the type of meat, cheese, or pasta, or even add vegetables.
